In 1928 Paul and Bert Dahm placed a notice in the Fort Wayne paper announcing the formation of their company. Paul served as president, Bert as secretary and treasurer.

The advertisement listed the materials they worked in: tile, slate, asbestos, tar and gravel, and asphalt. At the bottom ran the line that summed up the business, promising a roof for every purpose and to fit every purse. Ninety-eight years later that is still a fair description of how we work.

 

The materials have changed. The principle has not.
